The world is currently fighting a pandemic. A disease that is highly contagious and that can easily take lives. Our different governments are at the frontline trying to flatten the curve and give us the green light to resume our normal lives and all we are asked to do is stay indoors. We can only hope that it will be over any moment now. But in the meantime, what are we doing to take care of ourselves in all ways possible?
Taking care of our mental health is one thing that is very important to do during this pandemic. Most people are probably away from family and friends and are worried to death about the health of their loved ones. Some are reading on the internet about quotes that say if you come out of this quarantine with no new skill you will be a loser and other mentally pressuring things. All this cannot be easy and can really be such a toll on our minds.
Everyone should take this situation a day at a time. If you want to learn a new skill, go on and do so, if you want to stay in all day and catch up on that movie series you've been wanting to watch, get your snacks and get on it. If you want to work on your muscles or do a skincare routine, this is definitely tour time. Do anything you want to do only when you truly believe it is what you want. Do not let anyone pressure you into doing what you are not capable of in the name of "you have the time". Check on your friends once in a while, and see how they are doing, go out and enjoy a little sunshine if you can, make yourself happy as YOU know how to do it. We are in the middle of a global crisis and the least we can do is keep ourselves as healthy as we can.
