Smile of Africa

I was blindfolded not to see a smile of my continent  And trussed up not to make any step toward my development For god sake, all this was done through harassment   Them belly full but we begging for food on our land their intimate to abasement was not enough for them  in this segment,  to see her hurt was their greatest ambition  to see her cry was their main mission  But they say what doesn’t kill you make you stronger Gone are those days, days of blindness, Days of quarreling.  Now, I can see you smiling  Now I can stand up and live. they took away almost everything But disremembered one thing, smile of Africa  I see that smile as an endless fire, burning away hatred and slumber   sowed in her people, burning away the ignorance  I see that smile melting their soul, I see Africa no longer burying her thoughts I see Africa putting their vision to reality. East is east, west being west but Africa is the best Whether you be...

My baby

My baby you tell me Is too early to start my dreams? Too early to call you mine? So soon to start living in the future? The butterflies they talk of The blush that burns their faces  Is that a page in my life journey too? Because the tears and the pain The desperation and the agony That bring with them happy days  Are what I’m surely after.

Falling in Love

If my heart is ever tingly  And my brown face starts to  Blush  If my words don’t make sense And my giggly voice is heard in the hush of The night  My clothes neatly pressed  My hair brushed  Then let the world know that my heart, My heart has found the sole purpose it was created for Another soul to sing along with Another heart to love

Indigo

(How it feels like in 2020 )    My life had had one color for as long as I can remember  Waking up in the morning do some routines,  When I am not at school, I am at work or verse versa   Nothing else I had to think about less than being in the moment. And that was my Haven from January to December.  My life in 2020 has changed color   Even though adapting the situation was not easy Even though the whole picture of it, is crazy  But I didn’t take any moment for granted, because every single  Day in this year is an experience, may be a second chance To collect, to rebuild better version of myself  I never felt my life in my both hands before  I never imagined myself not fighting my wars in the west or east I always considered what the people see not what I see. But, 2020 leased me some time to reflect all of that and now  I have learnt to fight every battle in my mind and none of others views Weighs me down becau...

Don't give up on yourself

I won't stop! Why would I stop? I'll keep fighting, til I'll get on something, I believe on my own things, I never care what Others think. They may not believe in me,  Sorry, I will never give up on me, They made their way that I'll never follow, I'm selfmade they never know, All I do is moving forward, All I want is counting dollars. Ikindi ncaka is flying higher. Diplome itazana ifaranga Irutwa na mind nkoresha Gufata Cash nasanze ari ubuhanga shyira mind yawe kugihe kwanza,  ibindi birikora maam.

CHANGE

Need change not change you know, We Africans need to be united and live together in harmony, Whites and blacks all over the world can be equal, What is it that is wrong with us?   Hatred, evil minded, jealous that's what we are having, Bad people, drug dealers, robbers and gangs, murders that's what we are... Our government systems are full of corruption what’s wrong people? Let’s change, change for the better livings and leave out our misery and sufferings.   Bob Marley sang for us Africa United, Nelson Mandela fought for African rights, Martin Luther King did the same by fighting for a black man's rights, Let’s leave out the hatred and doing wrongs then change.   The change am talking about is the change that, Will make us sit on the same table either black, Whites, reds and the whole world in general, Together as one enjoying, working together, Living in the peaceful world, This could be a better change and it’s the change am...
